Many months have passed since the release of Subaru’s all new 4door STi but in all this time I must admit my opinion of the new styling hasn’t changed much. I still think it looks like a Toyota Corolla XRS with some wide fenders, and I still feel that the wing is not only too big, but is basically the redheaded stepchild of an evo ix’s spoiler. Typically the aftermarket has the ability to turn an otherwise ugly looking stock car into something pretty but in this case I have yet to be throughly impressed. Sure the RallySportDirect car looks good, but this isn’t about simply looking good as I’ve just stated, it’s about being throughly and completely impressed. What’s ironic about this situation though is that with this car I believe the best looking, can I say “aftermarket”, 2011 sedan was actually developed by Subaru themselves. LOLWUT? Now I’m not sure whether it’s the custom paint(no the car is not totally made out of carbon fiber although it looks like it), the track wheels, or the fact that I just really enjoy seeing Subaru’s lapping a circuit, but one(or all) of these found a way to “throughly impress” me. With that said I’ll leave you with a few pictures of this bad STi and if you want more info about this car you can find it HERE.
