Covered: Street Wars 7

This weekend was filled with plans and each was successfully completed but not without an obstacle that needed to be addressed first. Earlier this week my health took a turn for the worst, well not the worst but considerably unhealthy. Can you say staph infection? (yeah, FML) The news hit hard as I had planned to run wild in Atlantic City days prior to Street Wars 7@ Richard Stockton College in Pomona, NJ which didn’t exist on our Garmin GPS, get weird. As my physical well being rendered me useless and my reflection resembled Sloth from The Goonies during the week, we hesitated to commit to our plans until late Friday evening. Feeling “up to the weather” (it was sh!tty Saturday), I “bit the bullet” and we stuffed in the S2K and prayed (as well as followed the doctors orders). Saturday was everything you could imagine; gambling (WINNING), nightlife (Steve Aoki, Double Win) and fine dining (Ate LI teas), amongst other things (O.T). It quickly turned into Sunday and the rising of the Sun motivated me to leave my seat at the poker table. On the up and up, a little sleep didn’t seem like a loss and the winning streak maintained as the show was completely enjoyable (Often times I’ll be at a show bent out of shape from going out the whole evening before). Promises of an epic event by Jason Soko (PR Director of the Event) quickly became fact as every nook was filled with quality cars. The season is just beginning and we are already getting off on the proper foot. Let us know if there is an event that you know will not disappoint!
