Cage Match- Harddog Roll Bar Install FTL

The “bolt-on” harddog roll bar for the S2000 is far from a “bolt-on” or effortless installation. Yes, bolts are exercised in the installation process but the disassembly of the entire interior not including the door cards or dash and the cutting of the sheet metal in the wheel well would be an immediate cause for concern for anyone either than myself as “I like to party.” Finishing up the nightmare today, I still have a glimmer of hope as my goal to run this dirty girl on the road course holds strong.

Hint: Buy “bolt-on” roll bar, then have it welded in. FML.

HonDerp Civic CRX…

Del Sol. Perhaps be most confusing Civic chassis as you can barely define the peculiar targa top. Not quite a coupe, not quite a convertible, definitely not a CRX, a fact taken into consideration as the CRX and Civic label was dropped outside of the Japanese Domestic Market. Nevertheless, the unique Honda platform has found its place among niche enthusiasts looking for something special amongst the Honda line up.

Wek’Fest 2011 part 1

part 1

Traveling with good company makes all the difference in the World and last weekend wouldn’t be the first testament to that statement. To California and back in one weekend we traveled, East to West, West to East, by plane, train and taxi cab we went. Landing in San Francisco International Friday, we were immediately demoralized by the misfortunate weather but the emotion faded quickly as the weekend promised clear weather for the day of Wek’Fest.

FRENCH

The city hinted towards Wek’Fest with spurts of tuner cars driving about.

Twice we ate at this 50′s inspired diner… The malted shakes and root beer floats did work

We waited hours on this line even after we arrived a half hour early.

But the lot was filled with dime pieces like this RX7

Traffic also filled the hours with some entertainment

Spilner made clear that he hated that Spoon bumper, I’m a fan obviously. Function and form baby ooo oooo!

This S2000 was one of the most comprehensive s2000s I’ve ever laid eyes upon

Euros were present to say the least. This E46 was perfect.

Thrilled

It’s hard to describe the feeling I get when I come across an awesome Integra or Civic. I’m not sure what it is that gets me animated about the budget race cars but there are definitely too many awful attempts at the platforms. This one stopped me dead in my tracks.

Eibach’d

Keith Cheng, aka “Keychain,” has blessed Honda-Tech with his coverage of the Eibach Meet. Known for his photo brilliance (and his accord), he continues to deliver supreme coverage. Below are a few of my favorites but take a moment to check out the rest HERE.
