This past weekend I had the luxury of taking a short 3 day cruise to the Bahamas with the family.. After returning we met up with some family in Coral Springs, Florida.. I then get a message from Sheldon saying he lives 10 minutes away.. This lead to us meeting up and me snapping a few photos of his nicely put together AP1… Enjoy!

Ferio’cious: Track Civic Sedan
Having previously owned a Civic sedan when I was in high school , that was, as you could already imagine, stolen, this street/ track Civic (JDM sland- Ferio) evokes strong nostalgic emotions :sigh:.

The select choice of aftermarket aero parts comes together beautifully on this “mint berry crunch” Ap2 S2000. More than often the Spoon hardtop appears out of place but the clearly this is not one of those particular occasions. “SHABLAGOO!!”

I saw it coming. After recognizing drifters utilizing different front and rear wheels as drift spares and such it only seemed like a matter of time before this trend was going to be adopted amongst the show and street tuners as a style. That being so check out what might be the best show or street? (undefined) S2000 to date, arguably of course.

That was a quote from the Pursuit of Function. A film that I posted up sometime last week. The point that one of the interviewees was trying to make was that no matter how you build your car, if you built it to perform well on the track, with the quality parts that were made to be used on the track, then that function is the fashion.
Nobody can rag on you if your car performs the way you built it. This S2000 is NOT hellaflush, it is NOT stanced, and it is NOT on bags. Whether or not this car is tracked, this car is IN fashion because it can perform.

Blowin’ It
After a weekend full of Rota Grids I’m making an effort this week to share strictly authentic builds . No, I do not have a problem with Rota Wheels. It’s just exhausting seeing the same style wheel over and over again on different cars.
This TSX would come off as a hopeless performer given the autotradic transmission and the 3200 lbs curb weight but it is quickly remedied by a few diet supplements(CFRP) and a performance enhancer (supercharger). Touching upon the owners wild side, he* adds a little spice to the lightweight CE28s by powder coating the mags purply-pink which is accented by blue lugs. It’s an interesting color palette to say the least but the amount of genuine parts would compete with the most fiendish JDM hoarder.

French and I were both impressed to have finally seen someone take pictures of their Spoon fogs actually LIT UP !!. And the pictures came out amazing. AP_One’s car displays both style and function, which is basically what you get when you invest in J’s Racing and Spoon parts. The Ontario backdrops and landscapes never cease to amaze me as well. I approve my friend.

The Chronicles: PG+K
If you are following Joe over at The Chronicles then you’ve probably seen these pictures before but for those aren’t here they are.
Brief: Premium Garage Krew made their way across the country again for the annual Eibach Meet (This time shipping the cars). Making waves last time, they’ve evidently become friendly with the humorous Joe@The Chronicles, which is good for us because the car looks epic. I eagerly await his coverage of the meet because he adds an unusual, entertaining twist via his commentary (and all the of the food he eats looks amazing).

My Spoon is Too Ill
I’ve recently heard people claiming the death of some automotive trends which included the death of murdered out. If that is the case this JDM’d S2000 must have died and went to heaven. Recently adorned with a Mugen hardtop, the blacked out S2000 looks like it means business. For those of you in doubt of this S2000′s credibility the owner frequently tracks the vehicle yet increasing track costs have become an issue.

J’s Racing Wide Body
J’s Racing known for their all motor s2000 touge beast released a wide body kit in 2009, but it wasn’t well received stateside until recently. Maybe the fire dragon vinyl on their press vehicle at the Tokyo Auto Salon was the culprit haha? Since the debut J’s racing released some photo’s of the wide body kit in a cleaner application.
