We tend to roll our eyes at the Tuesday night meets because of the amount of nonsense that usually goes down but being that the Summer is nearing completion we made exception to the expected antics this evening. Being an ambassador of our community I made sure to grab the Canon for your viewing pleasure.

Tour de Long Island Subaru Club Pt. 1
Like I mentioned earlier we attended the annual Tour de LISC this afternoon. Working on our punctuality, Dirty and my arrival was on time and met by good spirits. Having a severe case of shutter bug I managed to shoot about 500 photos. Not being able to share the whole photo gallery (reasonably) I’ll be displaying the photos in 4 or 5 parts.

Long Island Subaru Club Dyno Day
When I was younger I used to hear the words No Limit Motorsports thrown around as my interest in automotive turning was growing. The aftermarket automotive performance specialist fully equipped with dyno set the stage for the Dave Brown’s LISC dyno day. My delayed arrival was well received as I recognized a handful of smiling faces. Initially greeted by the distinct exhaust note of a boxer motor, I exchanged hellos with the familiars as well shared introductions with some temporary strangers.

Ooh La La, Saabaru
Saabs might have one of the worst resale values on the market, but this isn’t your average Saab, if you don’t already know this the 9-2x is actually a Subaru at heart ( hence the SAABARU ). Produced by Fuji Heavy Industries in the mid 2000′s The 9-2x is more or less an Impreza with a luxury face lift. This one belongs to “RLB” a member of LISC. It did my heart good to see someone breaking out the wheels for spring/summer, and it did my heart even more good to see such nice stance/stretch/wheels on a car thats just a few towns over from me. Good job RLB, way to rock your Saabaru the right way ! Wheel specs. 17×9.5 ET25 plus spacers. (nice pics too)
